Sheriff Involved Crash Whittier 11 27 19

At 11:03 pm a Los Angeles County Sheriff Deputy was responding to a call for service, when an SUV collided with the deputys vehicle at the intersection of Imperial Hwy & Carmenita Rd. in the city of Whittier. The SUV t-boned the deputys vehicle sending it down a lane of traffic before coming to rest on its roof, trapping the deputy inside. Responding units were able to free the deputy from the vehicle and he was treated and transported to a local hospital to be checked out as a precaution. The CHP is on scene and will lead the investigation into the collision. No other injuries were reported.
