I will update this once its done but until then if you would like to join my discord I have posted the modrinth file there already:   / discord   ) Instructions for those that want to follow what I did step by step: 1 - disable vivecraft and voxy and start minecraft in flatscreen. 2 - Generate the world then enter these commands to get chunky to start loading the chunks: /chunky shape circle /chunky radius 512c if you have a slower machine do less like 120c or 250c otherwise it will take ages /chunky start 3 - When it finishes quit the game, turn on vivecraft and voxy, start the game again and load into the world. 4 - Start Voxy loading using this command: /voxy import world "your world name" 5 - Wait for it to load and if you feel like it then try turning on the BSL shader I tested whether the Voxy mod works together with Vivecraft to achieve much higher render distances in Minecraft VR. Standard Minecraft VR with shaders is typically limited to around 12-15 chunks before performance drops noticeably. Voxy makes it possible to run significantly larger view distances while keeping the game smooth. In this video I walk through the complete process: building a basic modpack with Voxy and Vivecraft, using Chunky to pre-load chunks in flat-screen mode, troubleshooting the initial compatibility issues (including the version downgrade suggested by the Vivecraft Discord), testing shaders, and finally expanding the setup with Terralith + Tectonic for large-scale biomes, bigger structures, Fresh Animations, and other Vivecraft-friendly mods. The final combination delivers a much more immersive VR experience with greatly improved draw distance. I’ve also created a simple modpack with the final working setup so you can try it yourself.
