The Believer's Two Natures (Revisited): It is good and necessary to post a sermon again on this very doctrinal subject. Having a good understanding of the Two Natures, Standing and State, Position and Practice, will help a Christian to understand his Christian life and why he still does the things that he does. The New Nature is Divine and Holy and cannot sin because it has no sin nature. It also cannot sin because it is born of God and born of the Holy Scripture. And God and His word, the Holy Scripture, they have no sin. And they do not have a sin nature. But rather, God's very Nature and the Nature of His word, the Holy Scripture, are completely divine and holy. There is absolutely no flaw, no error, no imperfection in God. And likewise, there is absolutely no flaw, no error, and no imperfection in God's word, the Holy Scripture, the blessed King James Holy Bible. A Christian's New Man (his Standing) will never change, it is permanent and it is holy and just. A Christian's Old Man is corrupt, vile and exceedingly sinful. If the Christian yields to the control of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Scripture, then the Holy Spirit then will help that Christian to walk in the Spirit and live a holy and sanctified life. Continued Description: The Believer's Two Natures / Standing And State / Position and Practice Salvation is the Believer's Position and Standing. Standing and Position Can Never Change. The Believer's Standing and Position are Perfect, Holy, Sinless and Righteous just as God and His word are Perfect, Holy, Sinless and Righteous. The Believer's Walk is his State And Practice. The Believer's State and Practice Can change and it often does. It can fluctuate at Highs and Lows. And it can change so rapidly and so frequently, that a good way to describe it would be that of a roller coaster. The Christian's Standing; that is Our Standing, Position (Salvation) is God (the Lord Jesus Christ) and the word of God (The Holy Scripture) keeping and preserving us. And concerning service and discipleship, If we want to be successful and victorious in our Christian life, live out our identity in Christ (i.e. living like a Saint, talking like a Saint, acting like a Saint, thinking like a Saint, Making decisions like a Saint), then we must keep the word of God and Abide in Christ. The Christians out there who do not keep the word of God, those who do not continue in the word, those same Christians are very likely to backslide, fall away from the faith, turn from the faith, to where they are not living like a Saint, but are living like a lost sinner, talking like a lost sinner, making decisions like a lost sinner and acting like a lost sinner. For a Christian's State (Practice) to align closely to his Standing (Position), the Christian must abide in Christ and abide in His very words (the Holy Scripture).
