Is Banjo-Tooie BETTER Than Banjo-Kazooie? | Banjo-Tooie Retrospective

Banjo-Kazooie is unquestionably one of my favourite video games of all time. It was a beautifully made 3D platformer with incredible level design, a fantastic soundtrack and a charming cast of characters. Due to its success, Rareware almost immediately began to work on creating its sequel. And, a mere two and a half years later, Banjo-Tooie released, to great critical acclaim. Players and critics alike seemed to like this game at the time, but nowadays, it seems as if people have soured on it to a degree. Personally I love Banjo-Tooie and honestly? I think I prefer it to Banjo-Kazooie. I know most people don’t share this standpoint, so I wanted to talk about what makes this game so awesome to me.
