What's Hiding 300FT Down a Hole in South Dakota? Come journey with us 30 stories underground exploring a never ending cave. In this video, we found a hidden gem, not really known in the badlands of South Dakota. We stumbled upon this gem, by taking a road less traveled, Instead of following our normal route to South Dakota, we took a different road and were pleasantly surprised with all the new places we passed along the way. Small country towns, old mines, old farms and ranches, and then we came around a corner and saw a hole in the side of the mountain, thought it was an old mine. As we continued around the curves, we stumbled upon Jewel Cave National Monument. Being west coasters, we hadn't even heard of this, so we set up camp in our home port, and set out to spend the day in the Black Hills and explore Jewel Cave National Monument.
