Bernice Hill, Ph.D. | A Jungian Perspective on UFOs | Speaking of Jung #118
Bernice H. Hill, Ph.D. is a Jungian analyst in Boulder, Colorado. Born in Ontario, Canada, she attended McMaster University where she studied biology and chemistry and later worked as a research chemist for the Canadian Department of Defense studying the effects of atomic irradiation on biological materials. Appalled at the destructiveness of nuclear weaponry, she left science for social action and relocated to the United States where she attended Rutgers University, earning a master’s degree in sociology and later a second master’s and a Ph.D. from their Graduate School of Social Work. Dr. Hill then relocated to Colorado where she worked as a psychotherapist and, in 1983, entered the training program of the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, graduating with a Diploma in Analytical Psychology (the degree of a Jungian Analyst) in 1990. She practiced as a Jungian analyst for over 30 years and served as a senior training analyst for the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado. She is also a certified facilitator of Stanislav and Christina Grofs’ Holotropic Breathwork™. Dr. Hill has conducted workshops at the Monroe Institute, been involved with philanthropy conferences at MIT and Naropa University, and has been an active member of the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine. While attending The Star Knowledge Conference in 1996, she participated in a circle of 12 women in a ritual offered by New Zealand shaman MacWiremu Korako Ruka. As a consequence, she organized and took pilgrimages to Peru, New Zealand, and Egypt. Dr. Hill has presented seminars on UFOs and ETs to mental health professionals and the public throughout Colorado, and in 2010 co-founded BoulderExo: Exoculture, Exopolitics and Exoconsciousness. Its purpose is to explore in a public forum information from contactees, corporate and military whistleblowers and other researchers.
