Wii Sports Resort Golf Resort A 3 Holes speedrun TAS in 1:29:897

This is the speedrun TAS of Wii Sports Resort Golf, the 3 Holes run of Resort A. Here is a Q&A about this run. Remember, I will probably try this TAS again with an albatross, since I failed to make a very quick Albatross from the rough. And trust me, I literally tried everything to get it to work, but I failed in the TAS, instead of that, I went for a very fast Eagle chip in. It seems a 1 and 33 seconds run, but it's actually 1 minute and 30 seconds (1:29:897) to be precise. Anyways, here is the Q&A Q&A about this TAS run Q:1. Why did you hit the tree on the first hole? A: Hitting the tree is faster and saves over 3 seconds compared to RTA. It really depends how you hit the tree, for example: Different landing ways and different shots, like red line. I choosed for the red line, which is faster in a TAS. Also the wind is also very important to hit the tree like you want. I tried to manipulate this as much as I can to go crazy on with the save states in the emulator, so yeah. Q: 2. Why didn't you use an iron, I mean: isn't iron faster than using a driver, because I see so many RTA runners using a iron, so yeah. So why did you choose a driver above an iron? A: I actually wanted to do that, but since it's really to very difficult to using iron with Dolphin Wii TAS input window, so I choosed on purpose to use a driver to make the rough as in advantage/benefit and tried to manipulate to make the ball stop quicker and yes, that worked out lol. I could also do using fast stops and all that stuff (by using iron golf club) to landing on the green, but that's very slow in terms of tool assisted speedruns/superplays unfortunately Q: 3. Why did you choose for 2 insane crazy fast birdie putts on both holes 1 and 2 in the Resort A 3 Holes game? Because most RTA runners don't do this, they are using the putter immediately and putting into the hole, so why did you choose for going like a way crazy faster? A: 4. Like they are saying: every few seconds in a speedrun is an advantage and I did choose for that on purpose lol. I choose for that, so I don't have to go with slow putts, so I could save over 2 seconds and yes, that did work out :). I thought this was very useful to use for in a speedrun, like they are saying: every few seconds in a speedrun can change everything and taking things in advantage. And since a TAS love to abusing things to get it in advantage, so yeah :). Q: 5. Why couldn't you make the Albatross on the last hole? To be honest, It did look really difficult to do, so how? But the Eagle Chip in was insane, gg on this TAS run. But yeah, why couldn't you make the Albatross Chip in on the last hole? A: 5: It was just impossible how I would liked to get the Albatross. I literally tried everything, but every time I go insane crazy red line the shot from the rough, it was keeping stopping to close from the hole and I didn't really want to make a putt from the green, so instead of that I choosed to make a very fast Eagle Chip in, so yeah :) I'm very happy about this TAS run and I would really like to improve it. I'm pretty sure with the fast Albatross I wanted to do I could get crazy low, maybe under 1 minutes and 26 seconds easily :). Thanks for watching to this TAS.
