Follow it and talk to the girl between the counters. She will give you her Ribbon. Before continuing on with the story, we are going to pick up a number of new/rare Beastiary entries as well as showcase how to steal the rare (and strong) items off of the Rukh, Sea Devil and Stingray (which can be very difficult to track down). This strategy becomes useful for stealing rare items off of monsters, particularly later in the game. The strategy is simple. Have your lead party member as a Thief, with the Thief's Gloves equipped. Next, have at least one other party member have Time Magic equipped. You will want your Thief to try to steal the rare item. If you are successful, that's the end of that. If you aren't, it can be a pain to run into the same monster again. The simple fix for this is the Time Magic spell, Return. It costs 1mp and starts the entire fight all over again, allowing you to attempt to steal again. Keep in mind that you lose any items that you previously stole. However, the main goal here is to steal the rare item, so you shouldn't be too concerned with the regular stolen item. For this playthrough, I steal the following items: Rukh - Murasame Sea Devil - Defender Stinray - Rune Blade Rather than give written explanations as to where to find each monster, I'll provide timestamps to show you where I am on the map before encountering each enemy (I find that visuals are easier to follow anyways). 01:10 - Frost Bull 00:46 - Istory Lythos (I got lucky encountering this so easily) 02:30 - Spizzner 04:20 - Nix 03:51 - Water Scorpion 07:35 - Villia 05:15 - Gel Fish 09:07 - Rukh (I encountered it earlier, but didn't have my Thief ready) 16:51 - Sea Devil 23:05 - Stingray Be sure to have someone with the Control ability use the Stingray's Mighty Guard on you before you kill it. It's a great party-wide buff (even if it is very expensive MP-wise). With all the new Beastiary entries, it's time to head northeast to Carwen. In the top right there is another barrel that we can now access for the final hidden item in this town. Now it's time to collect some additional summons and hidden items.
