Up and down the state tonight, the magnitude of Tropical Storm Ida’s devastation is still sinking in. State and federal assessments of damage to properties and businesses are already underway. Wednesday, officials announced 3,709 positive cases and 31 new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 965,265 cases in the state and 27,007 confirmed and probable deaths.
