The 1990s was a decade of transition to the 21st century and early emergence of the internet and accessible technology including cable TV, the world wide web and music file "sharing". The decade gave birth to new music genres like grunge, hip hop, and EDM. It also popularized a variety of fashion choices like flannel shirts, overalls, and fanny packs. But of course, depending on how you felt about them, the 1990’s had some awesome or questionable fads that we’ll look at in this video. The 90’s were transitional period; a span of 10 years that was a cultural precursor to the early 21st century. Many 1990s fads and trends were edgy and on the social fringes and then became acceptable and mainstream in the 2000s.. like the internet and the wide diversity of fashion. The 1990s was the decade that defined the end of the 20th century and foreshadowed all the coming changes that we would see in the 21st century. We have T-Shirts!
