People love the idea of big maps, and these huge maps are "Classic Battlefield Maps." But frequently they turn out frustrating or are just plain not fun. In this video I explore why that is so -- and mostly it comes down to pacing. In addition to giving some extreme examples of pacing problems (Operation Metro on one end and perhaps Operation Whiteout on the other), I talk about the solutions that we can use to make these maps better. I chiefly want to talk about this so that the community understands these issues as we go into the Community Map Project.
