The Buddy Rich Drum Company Snare that I have is a rare snare drum only made in the year 2007. It was made in Taiwan at the DW factory. This is a 5.5x14 inch 8 lug snare drum with the Slingerland Radio King lugs. It has an all maple 10 ply shell done in white marine pearl. It has the same pattern marine pearl as the Ludwig drums that Buddy played back in 1980. It came with the standard hoops and strainer that works very well. This is a excellent snare drum that has a very crisp sound. I have seen a few of these Buddy Rich Drum Company drum sets for sale on e-bay,but never just this snare drum. I didn`t want to buy the entire drum set since I already own many Slingerland Buddy Rich drum sets.In this video I`m using my 1970 Slingerland Buddy Rich model 80N drums with the 14x24 inch bass drum,9x13 inch tom,two 16x16 floor toms, all in the Marine Pearl finish. As you can see,the Slingerland Marine Pearl finish in the 70`s had the blue tint to them. They did this to prevent the yellowing when they used to use the all white marine pearl. A great sounding snare drum from the very rare Buddy Rich Drum Company.
