Kidney Percussion Test at the Costovertebral Angle

Renal involvement such as inflammation or infection of the kidneys can be identified by percussion at the left and right costovertebral angles. Pain upon percussion represents a positive test. This video was created by two Northern Arizona University DPT students, Jake Edwards and Patrick Klass.
