First rappel into the Cunninghman Coulior

Descending the first rappel into the Cunningham Coulior off the Aiguille du Midi. We were the first group into the line after several days of storms. Two mandatory rappels (60m & 30m) with an optional third. Skipping the third gave us skiing a 55 degree pitch with firm snow and a narrow choke before easing off the steepness, widening up to better snow.
