Rishi Sunak strikes post Brexit Northern Ireland Protocol deal with EU

Rishi Sunak has signed a breakthrough deal with the European Union over post-Brexit trading arrangements for Northern Ireland and will now seek to win the backing of unionists and Tory Eurosceptics. He met European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen at lunchtime in Windsor to finalise an agreement on the protocol.
