By stalling at the top of your backswing, you add loft to the club head. This can cause you to stall your rotation to square up the face, and therefore make you lose distance on your shots. Alignment stick impact drill In order to fix the flip, we need to get our hands more ahead to get the dynamic loft low. We want to get the lead arm to turn down while the lead wrist flexes out. Place an alignment stick in between your grip and the club and maintain that wrist flexion as you hit through the ball. Matching up flexion to forearm rotation My matching up flexion to forearm rotation, you are preventing the hands from flipping and adding extra loft to your shots. This will achieve better impact and more power to your golf swing. OUR FEATURED INSTRUCTOR Chris Howard an instructor at the Las Vegas Golf Club and is an authoritative expert on the golf swing.
