Three years have passed since the Mandalorian Wars began, and three since the Jedi Civil War. The young Jedi Knight Bastila Shan continues her crusade against the Jedi converts who call themselves Sith and who have lost their leader, Revan. Now, however, Bastila has disappeared after the battle on the distant, metropolitan world of Taris. Her hope, and the hope for ending the war, now led by Revan's apprentice, Malak, rests on a single being and the allies she can find on a great journey across the galaxy. The game allows the player to choose between good (light) and evil (dark) using an alignment system that varies depending on the actions taken: from small conversations to major decisions, these will lead the player to choose the light side or the dark side. In this story, we'll step into the shoes of an amnesiac Republic soldier who suddenly finds himself in the middle of a Sith assault on the ship he's on, known as the Endar Spire. He'll gradually meet a multitude of characters, some of whom will help him in his search for his own identity and in the counteroffensive against the Sith's apparent invincibility.
