Could this cutscene with Tilly be foreshadowing for what happens later in the game with Miss Grimshaw and Molly O’Shea? Cutscene from Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay. ~ Spoilers for Red Dead Redemption 2 below. This video shows the intro cutscene, during Red Dead Redemption 2, when the player plays dominoes with Tilly Jackson at the Clemens Point camp, which can be accessed after the mission, “The New South”. During the cutscene before the game of dominoes, Tilly chats with Arthur Morgan, and in her dialogue asks Arthur that if she were to “kill Miss Grimshaw would Dutch be mad?”, to which Arthur responds to Tilly that a general rule Dutch has set for the gang is to avoid murder inside the camp. Arthur then mutters there being “that one time” before he goes on to say, “but he was a traitor.” As we know later in the story, Susan Grimshaw kills Molly O’Shea inside of the camp for being a traitor and ratting on Dutch. Could the dialogue of this cutscene between Arthur and Tilly be a direct reference and foreshadowing to what happens to Molly O’Shea by Miss Grimshaw later in the story of Red Dead Redemption 2? Watch this cutscene and find out for yourself if you think this cutscene is foreshadowing that event later in the story or not.
