Aam Aadmi Party's Punjab Manifesto: 5 Big Promises

Aam Aadmi Party released its manifesto for Punjab Assembly Elections 2017 in which it has made a number of big promises to people of the state. The biggest of them, probably, is to give power to the people of the state. Here's a look at 5 big promises made by AAP. 1. To make Punjab Corruption-Free AAP government will launch a massive drive to set the state as a pre-eminent destination for setting businesses and industry. The anti-corruption enforcement wings of the state government will be given powers and autonomy to make Punjab Corruption-Free. 2. Employment of youth overseas Punjab Overseas Employment Corporation will be set up to promote employment of youth overseas. Foreign Employment Youth Board will be created to train youth for foreign jobs. 3. Three new Medical Colleges to be set up Three new medical colleges with training facilities for nursing and paramedics will be set up. All vacant posts of doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and technicians will be created to fulfill AAP;s “Free Health for All’ 4. Rs 5 meals in Aam Aadmi Canteens Rs 5 meals in Aam Aadmi Canteens will be provided in all districts and sub-divisional towns. 5. Punjab to be made drug-free in a month Punjab will be made drug free with one month of forming the government. Drug victims will be rehabilitated within six months of forming the government.
