Heart transplant survivor, Ann Ramirez, shares her story of survival and recovery

Working as a gymnastics instructor, Ann Ramirez was having a hard time breathing. An EKG determined she was in congestive heart failure and had cardiomyopathy. Time spent at the doctor unveiled an even more shocking discovery. With a renewed sense of gratitude for life, Ann now feels like she "is flying." Ann is a member of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women 2023 Real Women Class of Survivors.
