Message Text: Proverbs 22:17 “Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, and apply your mind to my knowledge” WHAT’S ON GOD’S MIND ? 1. RENEW THE MIND ROMANS 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. 2 Timothy 3:16 New Living Translation (NLT) 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. The Word of God straightens us out when we are wrong. in what way can we renew our mind? 2. TEST THE MIND Jeremiah 17:10 I, the Lor.d, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the results of his deeds Test our character Romans 4:18 18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be.’[d] 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead – since he was about a hundred years old – and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his f faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why ‘it was credited to him as righteousness. 3. ONE MIND Romans 12:16 Be of the SAME MIND toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. Romans 15:5-6 Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, 6 so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Closing 1 Corinthians 2:16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that He will instruct Him?
