It's one of two hand-painted tea sets, one was given to Christopher Robin, one was given to the Queen." 18. Pull focus of original manuscript from 'The House at Pooh Corner' written by A.A. Milne in 1928 19. SOUNDBITE: (English) Emma Laws, co-curator, Winnie the Pooh: Exploring a Classic "It shows his early ideas for the books. One of the things about Milne is he was very playful in his writing and you can see in the manuscript for Winnie the Pooh that the words are jumping on the page as they are in the published book, which means this was one of his early ideas. The other interesting thing is there are differences between the manuscript and the published book which reveal a little bit about the collaboration between the author and illustrator." 20.
