Watch Dogs Full Game Walkthrough No Commentary Let´s Play Played from a third-person perspective, Watch Dogs is an action-adventure game. Aiden Pearce, who the player controls, uses his smartphone to hack into security systems, disable mobile towers, take over public transportation, steal personal data from passersby, and drain their bank accounts. Hacking a system is a lot like solving a problem. The game takes place in an open world setting inspired by a fictionalized version of Chicago (the "Windy City"). The day-night cycle and the ever-changing weather system affect the way NPCs respond in the game. Aiden possesses an extendable truncheon for close quarters fighting, while other weapons include pistols, rifles, machine guns, and grenade launchers. The player may utilize grenades, proximity IEDs, and electronic lures, and the action can be slowed down to a crawl if desired. Missions can be carried out using either deadly or nonlethal methods. Aiden is capable of scaling walls, hacking forklifts and aerial work platforms to access inaccessible areas, and hiding in tight spaces. Motorcycles, muscle cars, off-road vehicles, SUVs, luxury vehicles, sports cars, and speedboats are just some of the options available to the player as they explore the environment. About fifty songs may be programmed into the vehicle radio. A car's owner may call the cops if the player takes it, but they might not if the player has a good reputation. Reputation may go up if you're competent at finding (and stopping) criminals, and down if you're a criminal. Hacking, fighting, driving, and making things all contribute to the skill tree's progression. You may buy weapons, clothing, and transportation using cash. Minigames range from shooting aliens to managing a giant mechanical spider. Collectibles such as QR codes and audio logs are included, while ctOS towers grant access to optional icons and quests on the world map. The game's multiplayer component allows the user to team up with up to seven other players to take on hacking contracts, compete in races, and more. Other players can hack the player by mistaking them for an NPC (leaving the victim to track out the hacker). If you turn off invasions in the game, your multiplayer rank will start over at level 0. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions did not include the game's free-roaming multiplayer mode or its decryption mode, in which two teams of four compete to acquire and hold data. Parker Square, representing the city's northern and western areas, the Loop, representing the Chicago Loop, Brandon Docks, representing a loose recreation of the south side's industrial district, the Wards, representing Englewood, Mad Mile, representing the Magnificent Mile, and Pawnee, representing a faux rural town resembling some of the city's suburbs, are the six regions that anchor the map's recreation of the Chicago metropolitan area.
