Anantnag Encounter: Forces intensify anti-terror operations; terrorists' hide out shelled

A search operation is underway by the security forces in the Kokernag forest area of Anantnag on September 18. On September 17, firing of gunshots was heard from Kokernag region among the dense forest area. Fire smoke was also seen in the forest area where terrorists were believed to be trapped. The search operation has been going on for the past five days.
