North Macedonia's spot in Group C came via the play-offs as they join Netherlands, Ukraine and Austria in the delayed European Championships this season. Igor Angelovski's men caused one of the most stunning upsets in recent international history in April which will give them a boost going into the tournament. They ended Germany's 35-match unbeaten run in World Cup qualifying - a streak dating back to 2001 - with a 2-1 win in Duisburg. Goran Pandev, a 37-year-old striker playing in his 20th year of international football, scored the opener in first-half stoppage time.
