It was shot on film, so could now receive a spectacular high definition Bluray edition... but alas, we're stuck with this botched transfer from 2005. Still, it cleans up well... and honestly... it's Bernstein conducting Mahler. There's not much on this earth as gorgeous as Bernstein conducting Mahler. So I'll forgive pretty much anything.
