[email protected] Across coastal Baldwin County, storm surge impacts were increasing by midday with large waves becoming destructive. Deep water was covering various coastal roadways in parts of Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores, And Orange Beach. In eastern orange beach, swells and increasing surge broke apart the boardwalk and surrounding structures sending wood and metal crashing into the coast with debris being both dragged out to see and pushed inland.
