Commentator Helen Dale has questioned whether people without “resources” are able to effectively take on the state when new laws curtail civil liberties. Speaking to talkRADIO’s Mike Graham she said: “Lockdown sceptics tried to fight COVID legislation and it didn't work…if you don't have the resources you can't outgun the state.” “But if you are a liberal and you believe in the presumption of innocence, if you want to fight against overcriminalization…you have to also have an adult conversation about the context of over policing.”
