Florida St. vs. North Carolina: For the second year in a row, the Seminoles have defeated Sam Howell and the Tar Heels, winning 35-25 this year in Chapel Hill. UNC jumped out to a 10-0 lead but FSU responded with a 21-0 run in the second quarter. Both teams found success running the ball. Florida State ran for 238 yards and North Carolina ran for 229 yards. Quarterback Jordan Travis ran the ball 14 times for 121 yards and two touchdowns. He also completed 11 of 13 passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns. For the Tar Heels, quarterback Sam Howell threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns, and he ran for 108 yards. Wide Receiver Josh Downs caught nine passes for 121 yards and a touchdown.
