Pössl Caravan Salon 2027 New Models: 7m Sprinter & Summit Range

I was at the Pössl Adventure Days to get an early look at the 2027 model lineup before it's officially shown at the Caravan Salon. Included: the new features in the well-known Summit Shine and Summit Prime ranges – and the vehicle that everything revolved around for me. The Roadstar XL Evo. 7 metres long, Mercedes Sprinter base, all-wheel drive. Managing Director Holger Bodenstein showed me the vehicle in person and told me what's behind its development, and who Pössl actually built this camper for. After that it was off to the test track. There I got to pit the all-wheel-drive vehicles directly against the Clever Runner Active 636 – Stellantis base, front-wheel drive, a completely different approach. That exact comparison showed me where all-wheel drive really makes a difference, and where you can save your money.
