This base 300hp 350ci for a 1970 Corvette was a low mileage engine that needed things repaired after going to another shop that didn't bother to take careful consideration of this matching numbers engine. After correcting the issues I could, this base model engine with OEM Qjet, cast iron intake, OEM 186 heads with 1.94/1.50 Ferrea SS valves, RaceTec forged pistons producing 10.5:1 CR, and a CPM custom hydraulic roller camshaft and full roller rockers under the stock steel covers ( not installed at time of dyno due to time constraints), on Kwik Trip 91 octane gas produced a best pull of 383hp @ 5500 rpm and 430lbs @ 3700 rpm in September of 2022, J607 correction factor. Observed power was 399lbs and 350hp. Located in southern Wisconsin, see our website, FB and IG pages for more under CPMotorworks, Inc.
