NHRA Big Tire Shootout CRASH!!

This was the final Race for the Wally in NHRA’s Big Tire Shootout on Feb 23rd, 2020 at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. Brian Manske (right lane) in his 98 Trans Am vs Mary Baltzell (left lane) in her 91 Firebird! It almost looked like a no-prep crash, but this in fact was one of the best prepped track surfaces you will ever see!! A few races before this pair, was semi-finals for Top Fuel, and Funny Car. I’m not sure what happened, but everyone was happy that Brian walked away un-injured!
