And he entered a house, and did not want anyone to know it, but he could not hide himself; 25 For a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him, and came and fell at his feet. 26 Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by nation, and she begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter. 27 But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be fed first; for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs. 28 But she answered and said unto him, Yea, Lord: but even the little dogs eat the children's crumbs under the table. 29 Then he said to him, “For this word, go; the devil has already left your daughter. 30 And she came to her house, and found her daughter lying on the bed, and the demon gone out. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, Send her away; for she cries after us. 24 And he answered and said, I was sent only unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25 Then she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.” 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to the dogs. 27 And she said, Yea, Lord: yet even the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Let it be done unto you as you desire. And from that hour her daughter was made well.
