Tropical Storm Chances get even Higher...

The chance of a tropical storm (or multiple tropical storms) forming is getting higher and higher. All major models are latching onto the development of tropical storm and hurricane development later this month. We will see signs of this as soon as next week. TIMING: Next week, strong tropical waves emerge from Africa. As they get closer to the Caribbean, conditions are more conducive for development. Why are the models latching onto development? The atmosphere will not be as dry. Atmospheric conditions are key. So is the water! The water temperatures are at record highs. If something develops, it could feed off the record warm water, and gain strength quickly. Monitoring closely. We will see if the dry air continues to win the battle!
