"Old Country" - from AFTERLAND

SETUP: Set in the woods outside a decimated Philadelphia, AFTERLAND follows a group of survivors who created an insular, cult-like community designed to erase the painful memories of the past and provide a fresh start for its members. To protect Theo, a child they found abandoned in the rubble and raised as their own, they vow never to speak of anything that happened before the war. 15 years later they still adhere to these rituals and beliefs and never share stories from before the war with Theo.
