Bengaluru: Amid Siddaramaiah-led state government's free electricity promise to Kannadigas, electricity prices/ power tarrifs in Karnataka have been hiked by Rs 2.89 per unit in June. Citizens will have to pay an extra amount of Rs 2.89 per unit this month if they fall in the more than 200 units slab while paying their power bills.
