Marines Fire 81mm Mortar at Army Range in Nevada - 3rd Battalion 3rd Marine Regiment

U.S. Marines with Third Battalion, Third Marine Regiment (3/3), conduct a live-fire M2-52 81mm mortar range at Army Depot Hawthorne, Hawthorne, Nevada, on October 18, 2012. Each Rifle Company with 3/3 has assigned a Weapons Platoon to Army Depot Hawthorne as part of a week-long range designed to enhance the battalions overall combat effectiveness.
