Sam turns a large mallet made from Marblewood. This is a cross-grain AND a spindle turning. The connection is made with a male and female insert threaded with a 12 TPI chaser. The design is inspired from a "Magic Hammer" made by Bill Jones, but much larger. Thanks for watching my videos.....
