Repairing this PS2 Slim: New laser and thermal pads

On this episode, we are taking a deep dive into this SCPH-77001 PlayStation 2 Slim. I got this in and it had a disc read error and a faulty disc drive spindle. And while we are inside doing the repair, it’s a good idea to perform some routine maintenance. Part of that maintenance includes showing how to replace the thermal pad and CMOS clock battery.
