जम्मू-कश्मीर में लगातार हो रही बर्फबारी से हालात गंभीर बने हुए हैं। भारी बर्फबारी के कारण कश्मीर जाने वाले प्रमुख मार्ग प्रभावित हुए हैं और कई जगह नेशनल हाईवे बंद कर दिए गए हैं। बर्फ जमने से तापमान में भारी गिरावट दर्ज की गई है, खासकर ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में एक से दो फीट तक बर्फ जमा हो चुकी है। वहीं हिमाचल प्रदेश में भी भारी बर्फबारी और बारिश से जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया है। मौसम विभाग ने येलो अलर्ट जारी किया है, जबकि कई क्षेत्रों में बिजली और पानी की सप्लाई भी बाधित हुई है। The situation in Jammu and Kashmir remains critical due to continuous snowfall.
