Wasabi Hero5 Extended Battery Test and Review

The Wasabi Extended Battery for the Hero5 is a must-have if you want to shoot for long periods. I've easily filled up 64-gig cards with 2.7K video recorded for as long as 2 hours and 50 minutes. Depending on frame rate and video size you should be able to get up to 4 hours of recording time. The battery is light-weight, comes with a nice frame that surrounds the battery and GoPro to hold it all together, and includes a charging cable and extender arm for easier positioning of the camera when mounted. I highly recommend this battery. Pretty ingenious, the way they designed this on. Only downside is you have no access to the back screen - not usually such a big deal in my opinion. You just have to set your shooting parameters before connecting and framing the battery Hero5.
