Queensland Sunflowers 2019
36 degrees and they're the only things I know that LOVE this type of heat. Beautiful, beautiful sunflowers. Take the scenic 2 - 2 1/2 hour drive out to west of Brisbane (Allora & Clifton) to witness these wonderful long-stemmed bloomers. They're only in bloom from Jan-March, so you've gotta get in quick. They can be quick at deciding when they're ready to bloom just as much as when they're ready to go. Take a wander, take a photo, and take your respect to look and not touch these beauties. Big thanks to our Queensland farmers for letting all of us locals, photographers (and tourists) come to view their crops.
