New details in Richmond Police's graduation shooting investigation

For a week, the Richmond Police Department was expected to hold a press conference Friday to give updates on the investigation into the deadly shooting that occurred outside of the Altria Theater after a Richmond high school graduation ceremony in early June. But Friday afternoon the press briefing was canceled. Interim Richmond Police Chief Rick Edwards released a video message at 4:15 p.m. on Friday offering some updates into the shooting investigation. According to Edwards, no guns were brought inside Altria Theater during graduation. Police also do not believe there was any gang involvement in the case, contrary to claims made by Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears after the shooting. https://www.wric.com/news/local-news/...
