Public's Help Needed to Identify Armed Robber

DATE/TIME: 12/08/2011 at 6:09 p.m. LOCATION: Circle K, 6925 East Broadway Avenue, Tampa SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: W/M 30's-40's, 5'8", 150lbs, short brown hair & goatee. Last seen wearing prescription glasses, blue ball cap with yellow writing (referred to as a fishing boat hat), navy blue sleeved jacket with lighter blue torso, blue jeans, black sneakers, armed with a small-frame black semi auto handgun SUSPECT VEHICLE: Mid 90's-2000 model Dodge Dakota pickup truck, red, extra cab, stock alloy wheels, with dual exhaust tips that come out under the rear bumper and a trailer hitch. There were black trash bags inside the bed of truck. DETAILS: Tampa Police officers are working to identify an armed suspect who robbed a Circle K convenience store. The suspect entered the business, walked directly to the sales counter and produced a handgun. He pointed it at the clerk with his right hand and demanded money. He quickly grabbed the money from the clerk and fled from the business in a red pickup truck headed east on Broadway.
