Ruth Dodsworth Opens Up About The Coercive Control She Endured At The Hands Of Her Ex-Husband | GMB

Last April, ITV Wales's Ruth Dodsworth’s ex husband Jonathan Wignall was sent to prison for three years after being found guilty of coercive behaviour and stalking at Cardiff Crown Court. A year on and Ruth is preparing for him being released after he’s served half of his sentence. Ruth is afraid he will be more dangerous than ever, he’s spent a year stewing in prison and has not shown any signs of remorse. She wants to speak out now to help other people in her situation, to show there is hope and encourage people to get help. She also thinks speaking out now will protect her in a way.
