17 Aug 2010 - Israeli settlers parading on Shuhada St. in Hebron, West Bank

Israeli settlers parade on Shuhada Street, formerly the main thoroughfare of the city, which has been closed to all Palestinians since 1994. All non-Palestinians can access on the street, but not even the Palestinians whose front doors open onto Shuhada St. can use the street. These settlers, many/most whom do not live in Hebron, are marching past the windows of Palestinians who cannot use their front door. Apartheid at its best. Not the soldier on the roof and walking through the adjacent Muslim cemetery and the concrete barrier and barbwire which prohibits Palestinians from entering the street.
