Nhelv 100% (Extreme Demon by SrGuillester, Notlsa, and Dienid) - MY HARDEST ACHIEVEMENT

I've been dreaming of this day for so long. and it's finally here... I started this level back in 2021, intending it to be my sendoff to GD. I wanted to quit back then since I felt like I had done everything I wanted to do, and had no motivation to push myself any further after I beat Cybernetic Crescent. So, as sort of a way to go out with a bang, I started quietly practicing Nhelv, pouring 22k attempts into it and getting 38-100% before eventually dropping it because of how much I hated playing it. The difficulty that this level posed was absolutley unfathomable to me at the time, and I wasn't anywhere near ready to handle something of that caliber just yet. I never intended to come back to it, and stopped playing GD altogether until Wasureta in 2022. Little did I know that Nhelv would come back to haunt me later that year... Towards the end of my Winter Break between semesters, I felt like I was ready for a new hardest. And I came to the conclusion that Spacial Rend (which I considered my hardest) and Wasureta were basically identital in difficulty. I could see either being my hardest without too much of a problem. And I HATED that. I wanted my hardest to be something that I was proud of, something that would blow both Wasureta and Spacial Rend both out of the water in difficulty. And then I remembered that I had gotten 38-100% on Nhelv about a year before that... and so began what I now consider my unluckiest and worst experience with any level. Ever. The difficulty of Nhelv comes from 2 things: Tying everything together, as well as the mental barrier that is the duals. Doing runs on Nhelv is incredibly easy (I did 38-100% 15 times lmao) on Nhelv but the moment you go from 0, it turns into one of the hardest things that this game has to offer. Not to mention that the duals cause your nerves to SKYROCKET at the mountain. The mountain is such a perfect tension builder, probably the best I've ever seen in any level I've ever played. It's such an easy part, yet you can still choke it if you aren't paying attention to it. Getting to the duals in Nhelv is the only way to have a chance at beating it. It doesn't matter if you die to 6% or 60%, because any death that's not at the duals means that you weren't close to beating it. And because of this, Nhelv is probably the hardest mental challenge I've ever faced in this game, topping Spacial Rend by far. Trying to encourage yourself to keep going after only having deaths in the 38-57% range for hours is unbelievably difficulty, since you don't feel close at all when playing like that. The only way you feel close with this level is when you're consistently getting to the duals, since they carry a large portion of the level's difficulty For these reasons above, Nhelv is by far the hardest thing I've ever done in this game. Wasureta and Spacial Rend aren't HALF the difficulty of Nhelv. I also believe that Nhelv is most likely a little underrated on the Demon's List (other nhelv victors seem to agree with me). It's an unbelievably difficult level, one that I am happy is done. I do not, and cannot love this level, or even like it for that matter. This level put me through a level of hell that I didn't know existed. I cannot think of any redeeming quality to my experience with this. Every awful experience before this, like Cataclysm or Wasureta, doesn't come CLOSE to how much I despise this level. I cannot describe the sheer helpless I began to feel as a result of playing this level. The feeling of sheer freedom that I got when I got that final click was one of the best feelings I've ever had, because it means that I never again had to play this hunk of garbage. I hate this level. It is my least favorite level of all time. Fight me. Thank you to everyone who supported me on this journey... I really don't think I would have been able to beat this without you guys. Y'all are all awesome :) And now... I can finally put this level behind me. GG.
