The Art of Parkour (2012)

SYNOPSIS: Peter Le is a traceur in Fairfield. Along with the group he has formed, he hopes to help people keep fit and experience the art of parkour. This is his story. INFO: This was my first short film and so was a huge learning curve for me. I didn't expect the microphone in the camera to be as bad as it was, so the sound quality isn't that great. I've had some experience editing video footage, but had never used Final Cut Pro before which I had to teach myself to use for this project. As a result, some parts might not reflect what I had envisioned but was the best I could achieve with my skill level at the time. Overall, I learnt a lot about film production and post-production which should help me in future projects. Filmed using a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Edited in Final Cut Pro. Winner of the 'Best Performance Award' at the 2012 Shortcuts Short Film Festival.
