More information: http://www.opensciencefair.eu/plenari... -- About Open Science Fair 2017 Open Science is a new research paradigm facing many challenges, mainly the ingrained research habits accompanied by non-incentive institutional and funder reward systems, the lack of embedded tools and services, the connection to non-academic communities. The Open Science Fair showcased the elements required for the transition to Open Science: e-infrastructures and services, policies as guidance for good practices, research flows and new types of activities (disseminate, mine, review, assess, etc.), the roles of the respective actors and their networks. The Open Science Fair 2017 was organized as an emblematic initiative of four EU projects in the area of Open Science: OpenAIRE, OpenUP, FOSTER and OpenMinTeD. It was locally curated by the National Kapodestrian University of Athens and the “Athena” Research and Innovation Center and co-sponsored by the National Library of Greece.
