PRESIDENTIAL PETITION: NUP lawyers yet to serve president Museveni

Lawyers representing former Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi in the presidential election petition filed in the Supreme Court on Monday are racing against time to serve Yoweri Museveni who is the first respondent. By late Tuesday evening Lawyers led by Anthony Wameli had yet to fulfill the obligation, which, by law, should be done not later than Wednesday. But Museveni's Legal team says it is ready to defend their client's win for a sixth term. Kyagulanyi presented 26 grounds which they believe will convince court to annul the election of the President.
